Question
What Tefilot should be said for the passing of Arafat? Would we say Tachanun on the day or Hallel without a Bracha? Or possibly a Tov Ve’Hameitiv?
Answer
I suggest we pray to HaShem that our own leaders will be men of justice, truth and spiritual strength, and that Arafat's inheritors are less successful anti Semites than he was.
