In the upcoming Torah portions of the week (Teruma, Tetzaveh, Vayak’hel, Pekudei), we will read about the construction of the Mishkan, the Tabernacle. The points that connect the making of the Tabernacle and the priestly garments are – order and harmony! The Tabernacle and its vessels were made from 39 types of human creativity; using components from the inanimate, flora and fauna. The ability to connect everything in harmony, aesthetics and thought, is referred to in the Torah as "craftsmanship"; the Divine presence can only dwell in this way. From time to time an urge arises to destroy the harmony; therefore, in the middle of the Torah portions of the Tabernacle (Ki Tisa), the sin of the calf is described – a hedonistic rampage around a golden calf.

Throughout human history, tension between the desire for order and harmony and the desire for chaos exists. In every generation, there are savages interested in anarchy and hatred; who wish to disturb the order in the Mishkan [also used to refer to the Knesset]; to block the houses of the Knesset members; to threaten murder. The extreme left has always been characterized by this – ask your grandparents.

But this will not help them. When the State of Israel was established, national and traditional forces declared "there will be no civil war". This time, too, there will be no civil war. This time, not only because of national responsibility, but for the simple reason that we are the majority. The conservative and traditional forces (all over the world by the way) are less provocative but are growing quietly and surely in the long run, demographically and culturally. Nothing is falling apart, not tradition, not the State, not the family; on the contrary, the public who believes is steadily growing.

Let me predict what is going to happen in the coming weeks: the anarchists will continue to run wild for some time (as we know, money and media coverage are not lacking), but each such rampage decreases public sympathy. The people of Israel do not connect with lies, hatred and violence over time. The judicial reform will pass with minor amendments and the agents of chaos will become another distant memory, just like the Milky protests and the anarchists during Covid. Order and harmony always succeed in the end; certainly, for the Jewish nation.

The bad will pass.
The good will prevail.
With God's help.
