Question
I have heard conflicting stories about the wherabouts of the ark of the covenant. Has it been found and if so where are its whereabouts?
Answer
The Ark of Covenant has not been found. There are sources (Mishna Shekalim, Maimonadies) that write that it was buried under the Holy of Holies. Other sources say it was taken by Nebuchadnetzar and never found.
