Question
Hello Rabbi,
I know HaShem exists, let alone the proof of Mt. Sinai, also the concept of Necessary Being (according to Rambam, I forgot what it is called according to Kuzari). But what about us? Is there any logical/philosophical argument, or any proof? By the way, even if we were a simulation, (technically, the Tanya’s understanding of tzimtzumim does kind of mean this, just not in the same way the skeptics understand it) HaShem would still exist (look in the first parenthesis).
Answer
If you are looking for proof that we exist, I think the simplest way is to bang your arm on the closest table, and that undeniable pain is very real. Some people confuse simple issues through philosophical gymnastics, but I prefer to see them as they simply are.
