Question
Is it OK to like and/or use sayings from other religions or people, like wisdom quotes, etc
Answer
After searching, you will find that almost every wise saying or wisdom can already be found in 3,335 years of recorded Jewish wisdom, so why not quote our own rabbis? That being said, there's no problem to quote other people, for we teach "accept the truth from whomever said it" (Rambam, Intro. to Shmoneh Prakim). On the other hand, quoting other religions compliments them and may lead other Jews to take interest in them, so in such a case, it's better to cite the idea without mentioning its source.
