Question
My youngest brother is getting married soon and my parents asked me to find out - what is the source of the "Mezinka dance" (is there one?) and how is this custom (correctly) performed? thank you.
Answer
I don't know of any special wedding dance to the Mezinka melody [which BTW was adopted by Israeli kindergartens as a birthday song]. This is not one of the foundations of a Jewish wedding.
