Question
I am getting married soon, and have selected a gown. It will be off-white, with some blue fabric flowers. Is this dress permitted for my ceremony? My aunt remembers that she was told her dress needed to be only white. Thank you.
Answer
Mazal Tov on your upcoming wedding.
If the dress is white, then the blue fabric flowers are not a problem. (See Ben Ish Chai Noach 11 that a Talit should be white, however, if there is some minor coloring on the edges for embellishment it is still considered white.)
