Rabbi- I would like to know if "rice" is considered chametz? I’m from a non-observent jewish family, and wish to observe Pesach this year. I heard that it depends on whether your family has a custom of eating it at Pesach. There is no history, so what do I do?

Ashcenazi Jews do not eat rice on Peasach whereas Sefaradi Jews do. If you are an Ashcenazi you should not eat rice on Peasach. Rabbi Yitzchak Grinblat
