Kashrut of a corelle plate
Question
Meat was placed on a Corelle plate. The plate with the meat on it was heated in the microwave. I am not sure exactly of the tempature of the meat , but it was pretty hot. Is it possible to Kasher the plate? If so how would one Kasher the plate?
Answer
The plate may be kashered by "Hagalah" which is immersing the plare, when clean, in boiling water. We consider corelle as glass, which we generally do not kasher for Pesach (if used for cooking) but do kasher from milk to meat.
