Double sided Kippa
Question
When wearing a kippa, does it have to be double sided or is one covering sufficient?
please state the different halachic opinions and their sources.
Answer
One covering is sufficient for head covering generally. The custom to wear a hat over the kippah is based on what is customarilly worn in a given community. I know people who wear lined kippot in principle but know no source.
