Question
What is the maximum size talit that a man may wear?
I have seen most men with a talit that goes only past their waist, but I have also seen men with a talit that goes nearly to the feet (that engulfs them when pulled over their head.
I know of the minimum size (to cover a child standing), but what of a full-grown man (5’6")?
Answer
I know of no maximum size, as long as the tallit is worn in a dignified manner (not dragging on the floor).
