Torah Sages Decision Based on Torah?
Question
Is the decision by the Sages of Israel to allow the vote for the removal of the landmarks of the Jewish people from their homes, shuls, businesses and Yeshivot based on Devarim 19:14 - "Thou (Rabbi sages) shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set, in thine inheritance which thou shalt inherit, in the land that the L-rd thy G-d giveth thee to possess it." ?
Answer
I see no connection to that reference. That verse speaks about removing ones landmark and stealing others private property.
