- General Questions on Brachot
Barefoot Bracha
Question
Is it prohibited to show one’s toes when praying? How about when saying simple blessings such as over a cup of water?
Answer
Don’t pray barefoot – it's inappropriate to stand before G-d like you stand before your friends at the beach. For Brachot on food it's acceptable.
