My daughter who is an orthodox jew is divorced and obtained a get. she now wishes to remarry an orthodox jew who is a cohan. what has to be done to enable her to do so? what if the man renounces his cohanship?

Answer

A Cohen can’t renounce his Cehunah and can’t ever marry a divorcee.
