Question
If an item in a store is marked with a certain price, and when I go to pay at the cashier the computer reads out a much lower price, am I obligated to inform the cashier of this inconsistency?
Answer
Generally, the computer price is the one most recently entered. It may be a sale price or a deal of some kind. Only of the computer readout is not reasonable should you inform the store, and even then they will probably honor the computer price.
