Question
I am returning from Israel to NY erev Tisha B’av taking off at 430pm before the fast starts in Israel. When does my fast begin? When does it end?
Answer
There are various opinions on this issue.
You should start the fast as the sun sets under where you are and end it when it ends in NY.
