Tznius in front of Brothers
Question
Must a woman dress in a tzniut manner in front of their brothers and father? May a woman wear pajama pants, short sleeves.... in front of her siblings?
Answer
The Bach (115 ,2) brings the common custom for a woman not to uncover her hair even before her family. Though not recommended, those women who don't cover their hair in front of their father have whom to rely on.
Short sleeve tops you can't wear outside, should not be worn at home before any man but your husband.
As for pants, the Halacha is more lenient and a modest pair of women's pants do not have to be changed for father or brothers.
