Is a marriage conducted by a Conservative or Reform Rabbi in the USA chal? Presuming there's a problem what is the status of any offspring borne from such a marriage?

1. The Kidushin are non valid. (Igrot Moshe EH 1, 76; and many more) 2. The fact the parents are not married does not affect the status of the children and they are Kosher Jews, as long as the mother is really Jewish. (Shulchan Aruch EH 4; 27)
