Widow Marrying a Cohen
Question
Is a widow allowed to marry a Cohen if she has:
No children, only daughters, or only sons?
Answer
A Cohen is allowed to marry a widow, with or without children, but not a divorcee. The High Priest was prohibited from marrying any woman who was not a virgin. Today there is no High Priest.
