I have heard tens of times from Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu that in our generation, God sends humans many signs of awakening. Because this is the era of "the Lord your God will open up your heart and the hearts of your offspring", and sometimes, we can see this tangibly. How many people have felt yearning for God deep in their hearts, but do not know how to actualize this awakening to Teshuva. The religious Jews that know a little more about the ways of the Creator need to guide their brothers, not to God forbid distance them or express scorn. Certainly they should not disgrace the name of God. And a person cannot imagine how important this is to the Holy One, Blessed be He. If people only knew how important this was - they would chase after their brothers to bring them closer to God and embrace them with love.
