Shabbat meals and women
Question
What is the Halacha regarding women having a meal on Shabbat? Is it obligatory? Do women have to partake in all parts of the meals (washing for bread, eating "basar v’dagim"?)
Answer
Hashem Imach.
Women have the exact same obligation as men to feast on Shabbat, including washing for bread, eating meat, wine etc. Just as men, if a woman doesn’t enjoy meat or wine, than she should eat that which will bring her “Shabbat delight”.
