Question
Is one allowed to floss one’s teeth on Shabbat if one pre-rips floss? Would it be considered borer?
Answer
If when using floss during a long period you have found that it does not cause any bleeding than you may use it on Shabbat. If it does cause bleeding it is forbidden.
