Question
Can you make a Passover hard-boiled egg in a non-kosher kitchen as long as you use a new cooking pot?

This question came to my desk only a short while ago, when we are a long way off from Pesach. Nonetheless, your question has ramifications in regard to cooking in a non- kosher kitchen as well year round.
As it is clear to you, the pot the egg is being boiled in must be kosher for Pesach. But not only the pot, the burners and the grate and the whole gas top must be clean and made kosher for Passover. The same would apply if someone would be in an Airbnb or the like which is not kept kosher and would want to cook. He would have to make the gas top and its parts Kosher before cooking.
