Question
Does a Challal have the same Halachot of a Levi, or does he have Halachot of a Yisrael (for example can he get the 2nd Aliyah in Shul or can he collect Ma’asrot? etc.)
Answer
A Challal has the status of a Yisrael, and gets the third Aliya and loses all benefits of the Kehuna. (see Minchat Chinuch 269).
