Chava’s punishment
Question
I was wondering why Chava the wife of Adam was punished after eating from the Tree of knowledge, if when the commandment was given she was not yet created?
Answer
If Hashem commanded Adam as the representative of mankind, the commandment would be binding on all mankind, as the Torah is binding on all Klal Yisroel even though we were born after the revelation at Har Sinai.
