Question
After I wash for Hamotzi, should I or can I answer Amen to my friend’s Al Nitilat Yadayim?
Answer
One should be careful not to speak between the Netilat Yadayim and blessing Hamotzi. Answering Amen after a friend's Bracha or for Kaddish or Kedusha though, is permitted.
