Hello Rabbi, I have a question on Halacha LeMoshe MiSinai, I understand that the Rambam says that no HLMMS (Halacha LeMoshe MiSinai) is disputed, which makes sense, as the bringers of mesorah would definitely be more careful in transferring halachas that don’t have a source. But in Bava Kamma the Chachamim say that tzroros is HLMMS only half payment, but Sumchus argues and says it’s full payment. How can he say this, it is HLMMS it’s half payment. I checked the Artscroll, they give the question and say check Maharatz Chiyus, which I couldn’t find. (It’s Bava Kamma Daf Yud Zayin)

The Maharitz Chayot (and the Sdei Chemed, ma'arechet Heh, 33) explain that the Halacha given to Moshe at Sinai was that one is responsible and must pay for his tzrorot damaging, but exactly how much he must pay wasn't passed down, and that's how we find a difference of opinion on the issue.
