Question
is there any permission to leave eretz yisroel because the culture is getting more and more disgusting to the point where i dont want to leave my home and it is making me depressed and i cant serve Hashem with simcha in my learning davening and performance of mitzvos
Answer
As I'm sure you well know, we do mitzvot even if they're difficult, for they are not only Godly, but great advise and beneficial, as we read in this week's parsha, "…all the mitzvot that I commanded you, for your benefit" (Dvarim 10, 13). Chazal teach and it's brought as halacha (Shulchan Aruch Ev. H. 75) that one should always live in Eretz Yisrael, even when she is in the hands of idolaters (!), for we love her and want to be with her, even if she's not always so beautiful. How much more so today, when after 2,000 years of begging, Hashem has answered us and is bringing Am Yisrael Home. If one were to ask any of your great-grandparents 500, 1000, or 1,500 years ago, if they'd like to live in Eretz Yisrael, in a Jewish State, with a Jewish army and booming economy, with more Torah and yeshivas than anywhere and anytime in Jewish history, I have no doubt they would come running at the opportunity which we BH have today! But just like the individual has "growing pains" and must go through the difficult stages of adolescence, so too it is with the "macro" in Am Yisrael. Like with everything in life, Judaism teaches to focus on the good (Avot 1, 6), and you'll be more happy, appreciative and your davening and overall general attitude will greatly benefit. Give Am Yisrael and Hashem the benefit of the doubt and you'll not only agree to live here, but you'll love it here in Hashem's Land, Eretz Yisrael!
