Is there a contemporary Halachic ruling concerning the status of Palestinian lands that have been expropriated in order to build settlements?

My friend, I have lived in Israel in Judea and Samaria for 40 years and have never ever heard even once of Israel taking Arab land in order to build settlements! To the contrary, Israeli law "bends over backwards" in any way possible, even when there is the slightest doubt, in order to avoid such accusations and angering world opinion. You may have heard such an erroneous idea from BBC, CNN, the NY Times or some other anti-Israel source (which just proves that our going out of our way to please the anti-Semites never really helps!), but it's easy enough to check the facts. Try and find even one such place and I'll be happy help you verify the facts. Halachic rulings are only given regarding real situations and not anti-Semitic fiction.
