Hair covering for non Jewish wife
Question
Shalom aleichem rabbi. I am a Ben noach, and if I get married with a bat noach, does she have to cover her hair? I’ve heard that the Rambam sort of implies this when he’s talking about the female slave of a Ben noach. Shalom aleichem
Answer
Shalom,
Thank you for your question. As far as I know, non-Jewish women do not have to cover their hair, beyond the generally accepted norms of the society they live in. Please feel free to send me the quote from the Rambam, and we can study it together.
Blessings.
