Question
It is known in the Torah that Israel shall have Final Borders from "the river of Egypt" (West) to the "Euphrates" (East). But what will Israel’s Northern and Southren Borders be?
Answer
As is clear in the question, the Northern and Southern borders of the land promised to Avraham are not specified; rather in Gen 15;18-21 a list of 10 nations is mentioned, seven of which were conquered by Bnei Yisroel under Yehoshua. The identity of the remaining three nations is discussed in the Talmud (Yerushalmi Sheviit ch. 6;1). There are several opinions, one apparently includes Turkey, others not so far.
