Conversion by which Rabbi

Question
Would the Israeli rabbinate accept a conversion done by a Religious Zionist Rabbi in the state of Israel, or do they only accept conversions done by the Chassidic Rabbi’s?
Answer
The Israeli rabbinate accepts conversions performed in Israel by the rabbinical courts set up for this purpose by the Chief Rabbinate itself. The dayyanim who sit on these courts are all Orthodox rabbis authorized by the rabbinate to be members of these courts. A conversion performed in Israel by someone not authorized by the Chief Rabbinate to perform conversions would not be acceptable.
