Question
Hello again. Im a bit confused. I can see how the 10 commandments being followed around the world is a sign of redemption. But the rest of your answer I do not understand: "However, it should be noted that among the Ten Commandments is the commandment of the Sabbath, which belongs exclusively to the Nation of Israel."
So my question would be, how can any one people or nation own any of the 10 commandments exclusively? How can any one nation or people own the Sabbath? Obviously, the rest of the world observes the sabbath to a large degree as well. Christians have for about 2000 years. Something that important to God, you would think would be universal.
But Im glad youre pleased with the world following the 10 commandments. Makes for a much better world!
Answer
Hello and blessings,
God gave the people of Israel the Ten Commandments and the Torah. Non-Jews are commanded to keep the Seven Noahide Laws.
God knows which commandments are right and good for each group of people. It is like a doctor who gives a certain medicine to one person. If another person takes the same medicine, it may harm him.
