Hi: 2 questions: 1. was Mordechai Yoffe, z"l a direct descendent of Hillel the Elder, z"l 2. Were Rabbis Hirsch Lieb Areyeh Weinstein, z"l, (d . 1881)ABD and chief Rabbi of Solowina , Galicia and his brother R. Ahron Weinstein, z"l, Dayan of Solowina descendants of R. Yoffe?

ב"ה Shalom, After a bit of digging in reputable sefarim and other sources, I've found nothing to link Mordechai Yoffe, z"l, author of the "Levushim" and Hillel the elder. In regard to the other Rabbis, I found on line, a descendant of Chief Rabbi Hirsch Leib (Zvi Aryeh) Weinstein of Solotwina, Edward Gelles who refers to his book "Meeting my Ancestors. Genealogy, Genes, and Heritage” (2011). In this book there is a chapter "Rabbis of Solotwina near Stanislau”. I do not have this book in my possession, but perhaps there טםו can find more information. In the Hebrew encyclopedia of the Rabbi of Galicia, I found Rabbi Hirsch Leib (Zvi Aryeh) Weinstein of Solotwina mentioned but only in reference to where he is quoted on different books while writing questions to other Rabbis or being answered. There is no mention there of him being related to Rabbi Mordechai Yoffe zt"l . I wish I could have helped more. All the best
