Question
Dear Rabbi,
I appreciate it if you can let me know of my possible misunderstanding/ any other point that I am missing in properly eating a bread.
If eating less than an olive, one should wash hands(3 on the right, then 3 on the left), not to say Al Netilat Yadaim, say Hamotzi, but will not say Birkat hamazon.
If eating more than an olive, one should wash hand(3 on the right, then 3 on the left), bring hands up infront of face and say Al Netilat Yadaim, say hamotzi, eat bread in 7 minutes and say Birkat hamazon.
if the above are correct:
how long after eating the bread we have till saying Birkat hamazon. ty
Answer
Almost exact, but for bread (as opposed to after waking) it's enough to wash 2 times on each hand. After finishing the olives-size of bread, you can and must say Birkkat HaMazon until you are no longer satiated (if you were satiated!), but in any event, within 72 minutes.
