Answer
Shalom U'vracha, We may not take stolen money from the thief that gives it over as a donation. The reason is that by accepting money from the thief we are strengthening him and encouraging him to steal again. He may mistakenly feel that by donating money he will be forgiven for his wrongdoing. Sources: This hallacha is mentioned in the Mishna in Mesechet Baba Kama 113, and the Shulchan Aruch 369:1, and 369:2, and Shulchan Aruch Harav, Geneva and Gezeila 12, and in Pitchei Choshen Hilchot Geneiva, 1:31). The reason mentioned above is explained by the Meiri (Bava Kama 113): See also in the chashukei chemed, nida, 40, and the shut 'divrei chaim' choshen mishpat 2;33). All the best!
