Question
Why was Aharon's name was written on Levi's rod or stick?
Thank you
Answer
The rods were placed as part of the challange of the rebels, as to who is really chosen by God to be the Kohen Gadol. Being that Aharon was the one chosen for that role, logically his name was that inscribed on the rod of Levi.
