Question
I put in an order to a company for some equipment in Mid July 2024. They sent me more than what I ordered by quite a percentage.
I only just realised now more than 7wekslater and the company have not been intouch with me. I wondered whether I have an obligationto let them know and end the equiment back.
Even if I dont have an obligation , I guess it would be a Kiddush Hashem to do so.

Answer
Shalom,
Thank you for your question. The correct course of action is to inform the company of their mistake. If after informing them they decide to forgo what they sent you, or if they do not reply at all, then you may feel fine keeping the goods. If however, they ask for the goods back, they should be returned (at their expense).
