Hello, Is JOB a parable or a real life story?

Hello, Our Sages of blessed memory disagreed about this matter in the Talmud (Tractate Bava Batra 15a). There are several opinions regarding the period in which Job lived and whether he was Jewish or not. There is also an opinion in the Talmud there that Job did not actually exist in reality, but was rather a parable.
