Does Jerimiah Ch. 50 speak of the current Iraq conflict or was it fulfilled when Persia conquered Babylon ?

Both Rashi and Radak explain that the chapter is referring to the Persian destruction of Nebuchadnezzer's kingdom. The annihilation described does not seem to fit the present conflict.
