Visiting A Cemetery
Question
In the middle east Spharadi tradition, sons do not go to the cemetery when their father is being buried. Also, men whose both parents are still alive, do not go to the cemetery for other burials.
Is this a custom or tradition? Or is there a halachic ruling on this custom?
Answer
You should observe the family custom. It is supported by Halacha.
