Praying in a Minyan

I know that a child may recite the haftarah. Does this require a minyan? We had a minyan when we began saying Aleinu, but when we finished, we were short. Can I still say kaddish? In the middle of the sheva brachos, we lost our minyan. What can we do?

Sasha glanced at his watch. A small delay wouldn’t set him back too much. If the man only needed “a tzenter” – a tenth man – for the minyan, that meant that davening would start as soon as Sasha joined.

Should the person who organized the minyan lead the prayers, or does the other man take precedence, because he is observing a yahrtzeit?
