The Haggadah: A Guide To The Future
The purpose of the Haggada is to tell the story of Yetziat Mitzrayim. We read the story which is mentioned in “Ki Tavo”. Why don’t we read the story for “Shemot”? Why don’t we read through the whole Parasha and mention the entrance to the land of Israel? -
Pesach - The Reward of Suffering
Why was the Mitzrayim experience necessary, why did the Jewish nation have to suffer for hundreds of years? Why didn't Avraham Avinu pray to Hashem the same way he prayed not to destroy the city of Sedom? -
Seder Night
The story of the Exodus must be told in a spontaneous manner, bursting out of the depths of the heart. One should attain a renewed sense of that feeling experienced by the Children of Israel, as if it were happening here and now. -
The Yellow Light
Preparations for Passover include a thorough search for every crumb of leaven in the house. But is this what instills in us a sense of freedom? Is this in tune with the spirit of spring, in which we free ourselves soak in the fresh spring fragrance?
