“Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad with her, all of you who love her” (Isaiah 66:10). When we rejoice over the restoration of Jerusalem, we must also pray that the city not fall again. This is done via the Torah, which sustains and strengthens us.

Will The Temple Be Built This Year?
Every year at this time, we mourn the destruction of the Temple and pray for its rebuilding. Does this mean that the Temple will actually be built this year? -

Why is it that only regarding the rebuilding of the Beit HaMikdash do we ask that it happen speedily? -
