⤶ האם ערעור על דבריה יכול לפסול תינוק?<br />

◄ [[ח"מ]]: ערעור מועיל רק כדי לבטל את דבריה, אך לא כדי להחזיק את התינוק כפסול. לכן אם מישהו ערער, בין אם הוא פוסל את התינוק או מכשיר, התינוק בחזקת כשר .<br />

◄ [[ב"ש]]: ערעור יכול להכשיר ילד שהמיילדת פסלה, או לפסול ילד שהמיילדת הכשירה.<br />

⦿ נאמנות מיילדת שקרובה לתינוק<br />
<br />
מגיד משנה: חכמים לא נתנו לאמא נאמנות לומר שהבן שלה הוא ממזר ודאי (כנזכר בסעיף כו), כי היא קרובה אליו.<br />

⤶ האם מיילדת שקרובה לתינוק נאמנת לומר שהוא ממזר?<br />
<br />
◄ משנה למלך: נראה שאינה נאמנת. אך נשאר בצ"ע.<br />
<br />
◄ ערוך השולחן ועצי ארזים: המיילדת נאמנת. דווקא לאמא שתמיד היא קרובה אין נאמנות, אך למיילדת שבד"כ אינה קרובה, לא חילקו ונאמנת תמיד.</div>
