<p></p> <p><b>דף חדש</b></p><div>מצוות עריכת נרות המקדש<br /> <br /> (א) להטיב נרות תמיד לפני השם יתברך, שנאמר (שמות כז, כא) יערוך אותו אהרן ובניו, כלומר יערוך הנר לפני השם יתברך, וזהו מצות הטבת נרות הנזכרת בגמרא.<br /> <br /> משרשי המצוה, שציונו השם יתברך להיות נר דולק בבית הקדוש להגדלת הבית לכבוד ולבפארת בעיני הרואים, כי כן דרך בני איש להתכבד בבתיהם בנרות דולקין, וכל ענין ההגדלה בו כדי שיכניס האדם בלבו כשיראהו מורא וענוה, רכבר אמרנו כי במעשה הטוב הכשר הנפש. וכל זה סובב על היסוד הבנוי לנו כי הכל נגזר מצד המקבלים, עם היותי מאמין באמת כי יש למקובלים בענינים אלה חכמות נכבדות וסודות נפלאים. ואולם גם אנחנו נכתוב הנראה כפשוטן של דברים, והכל לשם שמים.<br /> <br /> דיני המצוה, כגון מה שאמרו הדלקת הנרות דוחה שבת כקרבנות שקבוע להם זמן, שנאמר בו תמיד, ושנותן לכל נר ונר חצי לוג שמן, שנאמר מערב עד בוקר, ושערו חכמים שזה השעור יספיק בלילי טבת, וכן נותנין בכל הלילות, ואם יוותר אין בכך כלום. ומענין מצות ההטבה הוא הדישון, ודישון המנורה והטבתה מצות עשה בבקר ובין הערבים, והדישון הוא שכל נר שכבה מסיר הפתילה וכל השמן שבנר ומקנחו, ונותן בו פתילה אחרת ושמן אחר, ונר שלא כבה מתקנו, ונר אצמעי אם כבה מדליקו מאש שעל מזבח החיצון, והאחרים מדליקן זה מזה, שמושך הפתילה ומאה אותה עד שהאור נתפשת בה, לפי שאין כבוד המצוה להדליקן מנר אחר, ויתר פרטיה, מבוארים בפרק תשיעי ממנחות (דף פו ע&quot;א) ומקומות מתמיד.<br /> <br /> זהו דעת הרמב&quot;ם זכרונו לברכה במצוה זו שהטבת הנרות היא הדלקתן כמו שפירשנו, אבל דעת מפרשים רבים שההטבה היא הדישון והקנוח ותקון הפתילות, וזו היא מצוה בפני עצמה, וכן נראה בפרק התכלת במסכת מנחות (דף נ ע&quot;א).<br /> <br /> (ב) ונוהגת בזמן הבית, בכהנים. <br /> <br /> וכהן העובר עליה ולא ערך הנרות כמצוה, בטל עשה.</div>
