<p>יצירת דף עם התוכן &quot;{{בעבודה}} המקור למנהג שהכלה שמה על ראשה הינומא הוא מהמשנה בכתובות (ב, א) בה נאמר: &quot; אם יש עד...&quot;</p> <p><b>דף חדש</b></p><div>{{בעבודה}}<br /> <br /> המקור למנהג שהכלה שמה על ראשה הינומא הוא מהמשנה בכתובות (ב, א) בה נאמר: &quot; אם יש עדים שיצאת בהינומא וראשה פרוע כתובתה מאתים&quot;.<br /> בגמרא (שם יז:) שאלו מה פירוש המילה הינומא? ומביאה שני הסברים, נבארם ע&quot;פ רש&quot;י. יש אומרים: כמו חופה של הדס עגולה. ויש אומרים: קריתא - צעיף על ראשה משורבב על עיניה כמו שעושין במקומינו ופעמים שמנמנמת בתוכו מתוך שאין עיניה מגולין ולכך נקרא הינומא על שם תנומה.<br /> <br /> מכאן שיש מנהג קדום ששמו על ראש הכלה בד המכסה את עיניה. ומשמע שבד זה לא היה שקוף שהרי לא ראו את עיניה. אלא שיש להבין מה הסיבה שעשו זאת? התוספות ביומא (יג:) כותב שהחופה זה ההינומא ומכאן פסק הרמ&quot;א (שו&quot;ע אבן העזר נה, א): שי&quot;א חופת אלמנה היא ע&quot;י ההינומא. ולכן נהגו בקהילות אשכנז שהחתן הולך ומכסה את פני הכלה ויש עדים שבאים לראות זאת.<br /> עוד טעם הובא בפוסקים למנהג ללבוש הינומא משום צניעות, כיוון שכלה בתולה נכנסת לחופה ללא כיסוי ראש נהגו להשים כיסוי זה.<br /> <br /> כל זה למנהג אשכנז, אך המחבר בשולחן ערוך לא הזכיר מנהג זה, וכן הטעמים שהובאו לא קיימים לשיטת פוסקי ספרד. החופה לשיטה זו נעשית בבית לאחר שנגמרת החתונה, (וי&quot;א שהחופה היא הכלונסאות שתחתם עומדים החתן והכלה אך ודאי לא ההינומא). וכיוון שהחופה נעשית בבית מותר לכלה ללכת ללא כיסוי ראש אף לאחר הקדושין.<br /> אך בספרי המנהגים הביאו שיש חלק מקהילות בני ספרד שנהגו במנהג זה. <br /> <br /> למנהג בני ספרד, אין צורך בכיסוי אטום, וכך כתב הרב עובדיה יוסף בשו&quot;ת יחוה דעת (חלק ה סימן סב) וז&quot;ל:<br /> &quot;מותר לכלה מעיקר הדין להשאר בכיסוי הראש של ההינומא (אף על פי שהוא שקוף, ונראין שערותיה דרכו) אף לאחר גמר השבע ברכות שתחת החופה. ורק משעת הייחוד ואילך נחשבת כנשואה ממש, וחייבת לכסות ראשה במטפחת או בכובע כדת וכהלכה&quot;.<br /> <br /> למנהג בני אשכנז, יש יותר מקום להחמיר שההינומא לא תהיה ממש שקופה, וכן ראוי שלאחר שהתייחדו, הכלה תצא בכיסוי ראש.</div>
