1. עין איה / שבת ב, רעז על מסכת שבת לג ע"ב
א"ל בני די לעולם אני ואתה.
א. אם הסיבוב של כל המציאות וכל המון המעשים הרחבים והרחוקים של בני אדם, יהיו ערוכים לקראת אותה התכלית הנדרשת, שיצאו מכללות בני אדם רק יחידים אנשי קודש מלאי אור אמת וקדושת אלקים עליון ב"ה, כדאי הדבר שיסובבו כל הסבובים הנראים כזרים לנו.
ב. ע"כ יש להביט בקורת רוח על כל הפרעות שבחיים, על כל שפלותם ומיעוט ערכם, כיון שהם כמו הכנה להוציא את הכח המרכזי שלהם במקום היותר נכבד, "בשרידים אשר ד' קורא", שהם אינם יכולים לצאת אל הפועל ולהמשיך קיומם ופעולתם, כ"א השפעת רבים שהם נמשכים עמם בהוייתם.
ג. ע"כ אמר לו שדי לעולם אני ואתה, כח שולל קדוש ואדיר וכן כח מחייב טהור אדיר קדוש וזך, כדי שימצאו במציאות נפשות גדולות כאלה, צריכים כמה כחות להיות נשפעים וכמה סדרי החיים להתאחד. ע"כ די לעולם אני ואתה, ואין לדרוש את האורה השלמה בכל מרחב החיים הכללי, כ"א במרכזו היותר נכבד ויותר תכליתי, הוא במציאות הסגולה הפנימית.

יודע הוא האדם בשעה ששפע של רוח הקודש שופע על נשמתו, שבכל עת שהוא מרומם את עצמו על ידי מעשים טובים... הוא משכלל בזה את התכונה הרוחנית של ההויה כולה. האנשים כולם נעשים יותר טובים בסתר לבם על ידי ההטבה העליונה של אחד מהם.
4. הראי"ה קוק, אורות, עמ' נד
הדיבורים האחדים היוצאים לפעמים מפיות של קדושים, נותנים מזון בשפע רב יותר מהמון דרשות, וספרים ארוכים (של) בינוניים.

יוודע בעולם ע"י ישראל, איך האדם (הצדיק) ברוחניותו העליונה הוא כח פועל היותר גדול בההויה כולה...
6. שם, עמ' פט- הדבקות העליונה להקב"ה, שמתמדת בלב הצדיקים, חושבי המחשבות הגדולים, היא מזכה את כל העולם כולו, ומגינה על כל המעשים, ומכרעת את ישראל לכף זכות, ומקרבת את הגאולה, ומעלה מעמקי-שאול גם את הנשמות הנידחות...
7. שם, עמ' מא
בל ייבהל (אדם) מהחידושים והפלפולים והמון המעשים הניכרים הטובים, הנעשים ע"י אנשים אחרים, גדולים וטובים... ידע שעבודה חשאית לפעמים היא עולה ביתרונה על כל העבודות הגדולות והטובות שהכל מכירים את כוחו...
8. שם, עמ' נג
אצל המשיגים הגדולים. אין עניני עוה"ז... תופסים אצלם מקום, ועל כן הם מוכרחים בעיוניהם לפנות תמיד אל הענינים הנצחיים.
9. שם, עמ' קכז
אין האנשים הגדולים, המוכנים להסתכלות רוחנית, יכולים להוציא אל הפועל עיונים גשמיים, כי אם (כשיתעלו עד האורה האצילית, ומשם, לפי הנחיות העקרונות ההם:) תוציא ענפים ושריגים מעשיים. (אבל)...כל זמן שהם יורדים ממעלתם... (כאשר הדיון) בענינים המעשיים... באים להם לא ממרום עוזם, כי אם מהרגשות והשערות קטועות, הריהם משתוממים, כושלים ומכשילים.
