We Were Grasshoppers in Our Eyes

Rabbi Elchanan Lewis

Its been at least three thousand five hundred years since ten of the twelve spies saw themselves as grasshoppers when they first entered Israel.
Why does this problem remain unresolved to this day?

"Ma'ase Avot Siman Labanim" the deeds of our forefathers have an impact on us and apparently till these very days, hence, we have the obligation to rectify the negative outcome of past sins (Tikun).
But, we should always look at the bright side of life
Then it was ten out of twelve, today they are a small minority, the Jewish people as a whole have the confidence to look in the eyes of our surrounding enemies and fight back.
