Question
Why was man put in a garden? Doesn’t it seem strange that he would be put in a garden where fruits and vegetables live as opposed to a land where people live?
Answer
Adam was the first man and by definition where he lived is where Mankind lived. His assigned role was to "humanize" the world of nature.
